Why Should a Company Implement Productivity Solutions and ICV Claims?
As the demand for productivity solutions increase, SMEs can upgrade its capabilities in the areas of productivity. There are many resources to implement productivity solutions and ICV claims, fostering a globally competitive brand. ICV supports SMEs in the adoption and implementation of simple solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity under the supportable cost categories of:
- equipment & hardware
- technical solutions & training
- design & renovation
SPRING Singapore is now working with partners to introduce more integrated solutions (IS) shortly. Because of this, each SME can apply up to a maximum of two vouchers to implement productivity solutions out of the available eight vouchers for each SME. You may also view the list of non-supportable items from SPRING.
One of the available Integrated Solutions (IS) is the Mobile Ordering and Payment System.
Mobile Ordering and Payment System
The mobile ordering and payment system is a total solution that ranges from order taking to payment. It facilitates the ordering of products, items and inventory through the use of a mobile device. This results in increased productivity and reduction in workforce. Also, customer billing and payment system is an integral part of this solution.
The supportable components include Hardware (smart devices etc.), related software, onboarding services and customisation, and related training. These consists of Point-of-Sales (POS) / mobile menu ordering systems and training as part of an integrated solution such as training for the use of these systems.
The Point-of-Sales (POS) System
This system automates processes in the tracking of inventory and sales transactions. It can generate a sales report and provide insights into the company’s customers. Additionally, it is also able to provide information on the store’s best-selling products.
Tablets that are part of an integrated solution mentioned above are considered as one of the supportable equipment and hardware.
Do note that the purchase of website and mobile application development will not be possible unless they are part of the Integrated Solutions.
Eligibility
You are eligible for ICV if your company:
- Is physically present and registered in Singapore
- Have at least 30% local shareholding
- Have a group annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 mil OR group
- employment size of not more than 200 workers
- You may apply via ICV online portal
